The presence of Opera Mini as a browser for mobile phones will get serious threats from Mozilla. After their browser that is used for mobile, Fennec, continued to be developed in order to be accepted in all phones.

Fennec has been used in Nokia’s smart phone N900 and has been several times being tested in the beta. After successfully completing a mobile version of the Firefox, Mozilla reportedly prepared to provide a Fennec platform for Android.
As was launched by GSM Arena, Fennec Android version will be introduced by Mozilla in February 2010, or exactly one month after the release of N900 Fennec. However, still there is not much information about the presence of this Fennec Android. The reason, Mozilla itself is still keeping all the informations about its browser.

In N900, Fennec is designed to resemble the same features as the version on the computer screen. Therefore the technology used also similar to desktop versions, including the HTML rendering technology.

Mozilla’s strategy on the Nokia N900 considered appropriate. The N900 is a mobile phone handset with a superior performance and software based on Linux, Maemo. With the Maemo 5 inside, Nokia N900 users can have dozens of open windows and applications that run simultaneously.
